Our Programs

A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR YOUNG AUSTRALIANS

A Start in Life's assistance is available to students from the first year of school through to the completion of

tertiary studies.

We offer three programs of assistance to students:

  • Learning for Success (Kindergarten to Year 12)

  • Careers and Skills Development Scholarship (Year 9 and Year 10)

  • Tertiary Program (TAFE and university students (first degree)) 

 

We offer assistance which includes regular interactions with A Start in Life’s Student Assistance Team and access to a variety of resources, activities, experiences, workshops and coaching. 

 

We assist Australian students who are committed to advancing and broadening their educational and future horizons, yet are limited by financial barriers.

 

To be eligible for assistance, students need to be:

  • At least 4 years old and under the age of 25 years old

  • An Australian citizen

  • Enrolled in full-time and face-to-face study at a primary school, high school, university or TAFE within NSW or the ACT

  • Facing financial barriers to their education

  • Committed to advancing and broadening their educational and future horizons

  • Willing to regularly engage with our charity and passionately utilise resources, activities and assistance we will provide
